Library
The Lied Battle Creek Public Library has an online book club and an online catalog. The Library offers a connection on its website for a database called Overdrive, which offers downloadable books and audiobooks. Genealogy information is available through our Ancestry.com subscription in the Library, as well as access to local and historic newspaper articles on an external hard drive for family research, going back as far as the 1880’s. Activities at the library include speakers and story times for adults and children, Summer Reading Programs, as well as an annual book and bake sale in the Fall which raises money for the Battle Creek Library Foundation. The materials sold at the Book Sale provide added reading and recreational materials for the public at very low prices.
